Last Year’s Menu
In 2019, Flavours of Ireland took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw. In addition to entertainment from the traditional Irish group, Macalla Trio, and a very large selection of drinks made from Irish products, the menu created by the wonderful chefs in the Sheraton kitchen included:
The First Dish
Irish smoked salmon, potato blinis, sour cream, beetroot, cucumber,
apple with Drumshanbo Gunpowder gin
The Second Dish
Burnt pumpkin creamy soup, black lentils, raspberries powder, chervil oil
The Lamb Dish
Irish lamb rack, demi-glace with roasted peppers and pepper, mint gel, potatoes truffle puree, pumpkin with chestnuts powder, black carrots
The Beef Dish
Irish beef tenderloin, Jameson Whisky sauce, dauphinoise potatoes with smoked Gubbeen cheese, salsify, young beets with rosemary
The Cheese Selection
Selection of Irish farmhouse cheeses, compressed apple, rhubarb gel
Dessert
Apple, butter crumble, chocolate, Merrys Irish Cream Liqueur
